So we are currently sitting in a La Quinta (dog friendly + free WIFI) in Latham, NY. Day 2 is complete! Roughly 400 miles from Portland, Maine we are exhausted shoveling pizza in our faces. We left yesterday from in Portland (above) and arrived in Waterbury, Vermont to stay the night with our friend Zoe. She lives in a beautiful apartment among the mountains (below). The dogs had plenty of free space to run and play. Zoe's apartment is on the front side of a small house that sits on top of a hill. Good views to say the leased...

The hospitality with a great pasta dinner that night made it tough to leave in the morning. We had to get the car checked out as well (thank you Tony's Kar Kare!) but it didn't take long this morning and we were on the road by noon. Tomorrow's day has us driving through the Adirondacks and down towards Watkins Glen, NY to the Finger Lakes. All of the state parks are closed around here, including a lot of the campgrounds we were planning to stay at. So we are currently abusing this WIFI to find us a nice place to sleep tomorrow. It'll be about 190 mile drive tomorrow, so we should have plenty of time to find a good place.
This is gonna be epic. Keep it moving we love yous guys. Haha
